TIPS FOR CHILDREN
· Add a fruit or a crunchy vegetable in a school
bag/office bag as snack.
· Do not use food as a reward to kids. Encourage
children to take one scoop from each food item on the
table. Encourage children to have fun by coloring
plate with different food items. Don't force younger
children to eat everything on their plate.
· Encourage children to eat regularly, especially
breakfast – studies show that breakfast eaters tend to
be healthier than people who skip this meal.
· If your children are picky about food, involve them in
meal planning and preparation process, take them
vegetable shopping, let them help with cooking, make
colorful, visually appealing food for them.
“Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint.” - Mark Twain
“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." - Jiddu Krishnamurti
|“ To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.”
