Do not discourage!

Each one of us has their own weaknesses. Some are not strong in reading, some are not very strong in writing, some are not very strong in understanding and some are not very strong in speaking.
If we discuss such not so strong characteristics of our family members in front of others, especially in front of children or that person himself/herself then we are creating a troublesome situation. Either that child/person is going to develop inferiority complex or that person would rebel and be stubborn.
Therefore one must not discourage. As the old saying goes, “if you cant speak positive, keep your mouth shut.” Each one of us has some or the other talent/God's gift. Our speech/thoughts should be to strengthen, encourage others in those areas of ability. It would be unwise of parents to discuss weaknesses of others in front of children.
We must contribute in making our family stronger and self assured.
